Life on a List

There are so many things to discover, explore, and experience in this big big big world. Although I have lived a wondrous twenty years now, I know it is nothing compared to all the things that are still waiting for me to get to them. And I will get to them, one at a time.

I've made myself a life list of things I want to do in life. I've written about this a little in my other dormant blog, but now I am rediscovering it again. I made this list a few years back, and mind you, I didn't get the idea from the Bucket List, please! I've had my own years before the movie came out, and mine's a lot less cheesier. Just to share, I like to use lists rather than a planner to organize my life.

Anyway, it's pretty cool having a list (apologies for the redundancy) of things you want to do in life, because it gives me excitement and reminds me that there is so much more out there. What goes into my list are things with a mix of challenge, and a bit of fear in it. It does not matter whether it's as simple as learning how to swim or as wild as making out with a stranger.

A few of the things I've ticked off my list:
  • See a shooting star
  • Ride the calesa
  • Send a secret to PostSecret (which I doubt ever reached Frank Warren)
I feel a bit of guilt for having forgotten than I have this list. For some time now, I've been caught up with schoolwork and extra-curricular activities that sometimes I forget the fun, simple and happy things I used to do (and what I can do). Now, I have opened the notebook on which I have written my life list that continues to grow. I'm sure there's a perfect time in my life meant to explore each of these.
