Winning is a Drink and a Friend

I was a winner, thanks to some alcohol and to some drunk friend who kept telling me the answers in the game.

It was a good thing they started the program late. I thought I would miss it, but they waited for more people to arrive. Maybe they waited for me to arrive. Heehee. This gave me the chance to shoo away inhibitions and get myself ready to play.

I remember joining numerous games, although I can't remember them all. If I were completely sober, I would not have won:
-a black Reebok cap
-a black Reebok bag
-a pair of black Reebok socks

I'm not the type who'd be willing to join party games especially if I didn't know well the people around me. But thanks to a few drinks, I got myself a few useful things.

I remember joining the first game, where you had to walk backwards and sit on the chair if you had the answer in mind. I understood how this game could get naughty, so I always gave way if someone else knew the answer. But that was just the first.

The next few games I was just standing by the projector, taking in a few more. I remember watching games like pass the apple (without using hands) and some sort of drinking game, but I didn't participate. The next game was bring me with a twist. I was feeling a bit woozy by this time, so I'd just walk in front and bring whatever they ask for, sometimes not even bringing anything. The last game I participated in had something to do with guessing who the professor was in the pixelized picture that was projected. To answer, one had to hug the host. This is when my drunk friend became my coach- literally coaching the answers to me. Because she is an officer in the organization, she knew all the answers and kept telling me. I just kept hugging the host and shouting the answers into the mic. That's how I won all the possible prizes I could win for the night.

Important lesson learned on winning: There's help around.
In my case, it's a drink and a friend.
